PREV-001 Harmful Behaviors: A Preventable Public Health Issue (2.5 hrs)

This course will provide prevention personnel with a basic understanding of prevention concepts and approaches that can be applied to their military environment. This course focuses on six forms of harmful behaviors - child abuse, domestic abuse, harassment, sexual assault, suicide, and retaliation. This course will also provide an overview of the Prevention Plan of Action, the steps which the DoW is taking to stop these harmful behaviors in the military before they occur.
