Unfortunately, in schools across the U.S., human trafficking and exploitation are occurring and students have been perpetrators, recruiters, purchasers, and victims. Military-connected students are not immune. In DoW, military dependents have been targets of human trafficking. As an educator, you are in a position to identify signs of human trafficking in your students and respond appropriately. So, what exactly is human trafficking? What are the warning signs you should look for in students? And, if you see them, what should you do? The DoDEA Training on Human Trafficking is for teachers, administrators, and school staff.
